Name: Blake McGrady
Height:6'5"
Weight: 230
Occupation: GCPD Detective
Identity: The Question (III), unidentified.
Biography: Blake McGrady is a former Marine and veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. He served four tours of duty, three as a member of the elite Navy Seal team. He's earned numerous citations for bravery including Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Navy Cross (extraordinary heroism), Iraq Campaign Medal and Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon, Navy & Marine Corps Presidential Unit Citation, Navy Expert Rifleman Medal, Navy Sharpshooter Ribbon, Navy Expeditionary Medal.
All records of operations he took part in as a member of the SEALS is marked classified. At the end of the war he returned to his home city of Gotham where he began his career with the GCPD as a beat officer. It was during this time he met Renee Montoya and Victor Sage, both having worn the mantle of The Question. Renee, looking to retire needed a fresh mind to pass on the mask and secrets of The Question. Mentored under both Sage and Montoya their tutelage made him one of the most astute investigators in his station house. Within his first two years of service as a beat officer he was promoted directly to the rank of Detective and moved to the homicide division. Though he had become a detective and had been taught his skills by both Questions, Blake chose not to don the official mantle of the Question and performed only his duties as a detective of the GCPD.
It was after his promotion that he met future wife, Leah Stuart and the pair were married after a mere year of beginning their relationship. Happiness would not last, long, however, as his wife, Leah, an investigative journalist, was murdered in what was suspected to be linked to story involving notorious Gotham mafia boss Thomas Vercetti. Distraught and broken Blake spent the next six months in a fruitless quest to link her murder to anyone, the hopelessly corrupt Gotham police office - Since the death of Jim Gordon Senior - turned to the undercover division.
Given a new identity as a small-time drug addicted thug, Blake was given the task of attempting to infiltrate the Punchinello crime family. His work would result in the arrests of many high ranking officers in the mob, but there were always more to take their place. He had found, that much like his search for revenge, was fruitless, trying to push back against an ever rising tide of crime and corruption. As a GCPD officer, there was nothing Blake McGrady could do without bending their code and breaking a few rules.... As The Question, however...
Blake transferred back to the homicide division and made contact with surviving remnants of the "Bat Family". Using his connections in the department and evidence obtained more unscrupulously as The Question he began feeding the would-be heroes knowledge of imminent crimes, past crimes, weapons caches, prisoner transfer, murder particulars and a slew of other such useful information.
Other: As a former marine and Navy Seal he is well versed in several types of martial arts and fighting styles and familiar with the use of all military grade weaponry, vehicles and tactics. Under the tutelage of Montoya and Sage he is (possibly) one of the world's greatest investigative minds.
Powers: None.
