It'd been a few days since he's gone out. With Dinah nearby and his 'hiding' status, it'd been hard to get out. But tonight was the night, Ollie had felt confident enough that the kidnappers were off his back. It was a sort of ploy to keep Dinah in the dark as to who he really is. Ollie was anything but afraid of Brick and his men. They weren't of real concern to him. Well, they were. But right now he was on the lead of another cultist who he found in the area. Batman didn't like him, well, honestly, Batman didn't like -anybody- (Though, he'd be hard pressed not to like Dinah).
These men were starting to be annoying. No matter how many he put down, 5 more were put into their place. With the trail grown cold again. It was time for him to find and put an end to Brick. Since the warehouse district had been compromised by some sort of explosion. Brick and company had moved to an abandoned building in Gotham proper, instead on the docks. Getting into the building through the skylight, he'd use the rafters to hide his movements until Brick is within his sights. Only problem. he's surrounded by at least 20 armed guards.
This time, a little more protected than when he was 'kidnapped' by them. It wasn't something he planned at the time, if Dinah wasn't with him. They wouldn't have been an issue. But, such how things fell and worked. He didn't blame her for how things went down, she didn't need to know he was much more durable than he let on. She didn't need to know that he was Green Arrow. Though, Dinah did lie to him the other night. She was more injured that she let on. It shouldn't take her two hours to get a bag of groceries.
Especially at 9 at night.
But he didn't question her about it. He had to remain 'dumb' on that. Defenseless, if you will.
Shifting along the rafters. He stays quiet as he narrows his eyes. Seeing Brick sitting there looking pretty on his big throne. Brice was the one who had him kidnapped, and it was him who tried to bust his ribs. Good thing Oliver was made of stronger stuff than that. Getting into position, he takes a quick survey of the area and where the men were. This wasn't going to be an easy fight. you can't just take Brick down with arrows, his skin is near impervious to all kinds of damage.
That's why Ollie had packed his C4 Arrows. It would pack enough of a wallop and hopefully enough to knock him out, or kill him. Brick couldn't continue his tactics, raiding Queen Industry Shipments. Kidnapping the owner. If Brick were to continue, it would get worse. Someone would most likely end up dead.
Using the darkness as a cover, Ollie swings into action. First two arrows are lodged deep in the sternum of two gun men next to Brick. The others start to open fire on the figure in the shadows as Ollie continues moving, keeping himself quiet as he lets off more arrows from another location. Killing off three more men. More shots would ring out at his location, but it was already too late by then. Dropping down behind one of the men, Ollie would wrap his arm around the man's neck and then control his arm as the man's trigger finger went wild. Taking down even more men, he finally snaps the trigger mans neck. Letting him slump to the floor.
With all the men down, the only person that stood in his way now was Brick.
"Ah, Green Arrow. It's about time we met face to face." the large red man would say as he shrugged off his large sports coat and grin as he stepped off his throne, walking towards Oliver. "Now, I'm afraid this will have to be the end of our meeting." Brick would swing one of his meaty fists in which Oliver easily ducks and rolls under. Making sure he takes a few steps away from him. Ollie would turn and use first one of his 4 C4 arrows. Couldn't carry too many, didn't want to become a walking bomb. The first arrow would hit Brick squarely in the back. Sending him staggering forward in surprise.
But… not quite down.
"Shit." he whispered to himself as Brick charged him with an angered scream. Catching the Emerald Archer off guard. Brick would grab the man by his the front of his costume, reel back one of his fists and hit him as hard as he could, sending Oliver flying back like a rag doll. Brick wasn't done. His bow was on the other side of the raging red monster. This wasn't turning out like he had planned, grabbing another arrow he throws it the short distance until it collides with the massive form of Brick, sending him staggering back and stopping his charge. Giving Ollie time to recalculate his plan. If one wasn't going to stop the man. Two probably wouldn't stop him.
So, how do you stop a man who probably weighs a good two tons?
You bury him.
Keeping to the shadows, he eventually gets his bow back and he's able to wrap his last two C4 Arrows around a support pillar.
"WHERE ARE YOU!?" Brick shouted as he looked around. Making sure to stay in the light, it was the only way he could see. Oliver had the surprise right now as he left off a series of arrows. They'd sink into the man's skin. But wouldn't stop him.
"You've been judged and tried. This is your sentence!" Oliver would tell Brick, making sure the man could see him in plain view. Getting out of Brick's charge, the large man would run into the pillar as Oliver triggers the C4 arrows which explode under Brick, and blows the support pillar. Well, least to say. Ollie high tails it out of the building as it comes crashing down behind. Brick would be buried, but would he be stopped?
Oliver wasn't sure. But he hoped he would be. Returning to one of his safe houses, he moves into the bathroom to investigate his injuries. There's several nicks along his arms and hands. A few cuts along his back, and a large purple and black spot that covers the side of his face. Poking it gingerly, he presses his lips together as he changes out of his outfit, cleans his wounds. Dinah was supposed to come over in the morning.
She didn't exactly say why. But, her presence would be appreciated.
